UK: Conference – Asbestos & The Law

On June 18, 2010, the Merseyside Asbestos Victims Support Group will be hosting a CPD Law Society Accredited Conference at the Merseyside Maritime Museum in Liverpool. The agenda will feature legal and medical asbestos specialists: Barrister Andrew McDonald, Gregory Overton, Ivan Bowley, David Allen QC, Martin Bare, Dr. Robin Rudd and campaigner Michael Lees.

International Mesothelioma Meeting

The 10th International Mesothelioma Interest Group Conference, which will take place from August 31-September 3, 2010, will bring together leading medical and scientific experts to discuss progress on research, treatment and care of patients with malignant mesothelioma. The sessions, which will take place at the Kyoto International Conference Center, in Kyoto, Japan, will include dozens of educational sessions and keynote lectures by eminent mesothelioma specialists who will address a range of topical issues.
